I love vintage, especially fashions from the roaring 20's, the 30's and 40's, victoriana, and memento mori. I like things that suggest a kinder, gentler time. I love beautiful things, and color, shape and form. I like to transform myself, morphing my look from one era to another, all while keeping a timeless style. I like to be quirky, like pinning a little diamond fly pin on the back of my shoulder or on the cuff of my blouse or hemline. I am mad about jewelry, especially bracelets~shoes~fingerwaves and updos~and not looking like the masses. I like old movies, and the eras where people used to dress-I mean put real thought and pride into their appearance rather than slapping on any old jeans or pajama pants. And, I love the Polyvore community, because it makes me more creative with my own wardrobe, makes me a better consumer, and gives me a virtual shopping fix!
